Just a few.....

Here are just a few of the fabulous quilts I saw at the
Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival.

There were about 17 different Special Exhibitions from Quilters all over Virginia, as well as the Juried Competition Quilt Show.

I especially enjoyed the
Black & White Challenge.
"My World in Black & White Revisited".

Then there were the trees.
I'm not sure of the title for this group.
Each tree is from a different perspective.
This is a tree that is
shown in the four seasons
of the year.

And the quilting was unbelievable. I was
amazed at what could be done with
cloth, thread & needle.

This New York Beauty also caught my eye.
"Name That Tune" is the name of this challenge. Each participant chose a song title, then with fabric, thread and needle they created their version of the song.
Can you guess the title of this song?
"Ring of Fire"
The artist name her quilt "Radiant Fire"
One day I hope to have my
New York Beauty finished.

Over the next few days I am planning to
share more of these beautiful
pieces of art.

I had a great time too; so much beauty to behold and so little time. It was a fantastic show.
